Last year, my sweet husband built a wooden heart prop for our daughter’s Valentine’s Day session. We sat her inside it for the photos, so I thought it would be fun to take some “same but different” comparison shots again this Valentine’s Day. I used the heart of course and then switched up the background and set. She did fit in it, but barely as she’s really tall for her age. (She turned 2 in September) 🙂 It was a short but sweet session and I’m so in love with how the photos turned out! You can definitely see so much of her personality (this girl is full of expressions, let me tell you!) She loves wearing “princess dresses”, smiling with her hands up by her cheeks, and of course occasionally pouting to get her way!
As you may have noticed, I rarely blog. I think my last one was from over a year ago – yikes. When we found out we were having our daughter, she became my top priority (besides our son) and that hasn’t slowed down at all in the past couple of years. While I’m still photographing plenty of clients and eternally grateful for the repeat clients, referrals and Google SEO, I very rarely find time to write posts or bother with the marketing aspects of posting on social media (my Facebook page is dead, too, ha). That’s okay for me, though, as I prefer to keep my business part-time so I can give each client the expertise and experience they deserve while still maintaining a healthy work/home balance. I am however going to try to share more cute photos on my blog since there are so many good ones taken every year! And if you’re ready to book a session for your own family, please just click the “Contact” button and I’ll get back to you soon even if it looks like I’m sleeping on the job over here… I’m not, promise. 🙂
